The rights and talents of all artists, musicians and creative people worldwide are greatly respected by us as individuals and as a company. At MiVenu we expect our members to exhibit an equal amount of respect, and assist us in creating a helpful and positive atmosphere for all MiVenu visitors and members. 

It will be assumed that community members will have read and agreed to these Terms of Use. It is your responsibility to periodically check the rules and make yourself aware of any changes and/or updates to these policies.

Etiquette Policy

This is an anti-bully zone. You will not harass, threaten, embarrass or distress members, either in the community itself or via personal email, phone, snail mail or in person. Overall, promoting a spirit of divisiveness anywhere within the site will not be tolerated.

Any language, text, data, information, graphics or videos that could be considered vulgar, pornographic, obscene, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, hateful, unlawful; that are racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable; or that violate any copyright or other intellectual property rights of any person are subject to removal from the site.

MiVenu strictly prohibits the submission of materials classified as pornographic or obscene. There is no exception to this prohibition. Any content may be deemed obscene by the administration and as such the staff reserves the right to remove such content immediately. MiVenu reserves the sole right to review and classify questionable material as obscene or not obscene.

Anything that can be considered underage, minor or child pornography will not, under any circumstances, be allowed on this site. In addition, MiVenu will assist to the fullest and best of our ability in the full prosecution of anyone who attempts to post anything that can be construed as child pornography. For purposes of enforcing the federal law (18 U.S.C. §2256), “underage, minor or child” is defined as a person under the age of 18.

Under federal law (18 U.S.C. §2256), child pornography is defined as any visual depiction, including any photograph, film, video, picture, or computer or computer-generated image or picture, whether made or produced by electronic, mechanical, or other means, of sexually explicit conduct, where the production of the visual depiction involves the use of a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct; or the visual depiction is a digital image, computer image, or computer-generated image that is, or is indistinguishable from, that of a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct; or the visual depiction has been created, adapted, or modified to appear that an identifiable minor is engaging in sexually explicit conduct.

Copyright Policy

MiVenu.com has implemented the following general policy toward claims of infringement with respect to intellectual and/or copyrighted property owned or controlled by a third party in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

It is MiVenu’s policy to:

  1. block access to and/or remove material that it believes in good faith to be the intellectual property of a third party (e.g., copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, patents, trade names etc.) that has been illegally copied and distributed by any of our advertisers, affiliates, content providers, members or users
  2. remove and discontinue service to repeat offenders of this policy. A repeat offender is a user for whom MiVenu has received more than two notices of claimed infringement or for which MiVenu has had to remove content more than twice. Notwithstanding the preceding sentence, MiVenu reserves the right to immediately terminate the account of any user for egregious infringing activities in MiVenu's sole determination and discretion.
